This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Guide spoke to softly for this too large group ( 35) to hear. Rather dull speaking voice. Stories not that interesting. Left your after 20 minutes.

In checking our records, we’re uncertain that you actually toured with our company and feel you may have us confused with another ghost tour company in the area. We have a specific number of guests permitted per tour and don’t have a soft spoken guide working for us at this time. Regardless, we want everyone to enjoy their time in St Augustine and hate to hear that you didn’t enjoy your experience. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in the Nation’s Oldest City and have a beautiful Spring!

This was a great walking tour and a good introduction to the spooky side of St. Augustine. We learned some great stories, and the information about the fort was particularly interesting. The only downside is my 13 year old daughter is super jumpy and scared to death now, but that’s the point, right? Lauren was a great guide - she was knowledgeable, well-spoken, loud enough, and super conscientious ensuring she interacted with everyone. We had a big group and she handled it like a pro. She was really good with kids as well and we had all ages. Would recommend, and I hope Lauren is your guide!

Hippie was a wonderful, informative tour guide. We toured the cemeteries and the fort. We even got to watch a rocket launch!
