We will hit the back roads of Jackson Hole to escape the crowds and seek out our favorite hotspots for uninterrupted observation of seasonally available wildlife, including moose, elk, bison, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, wolves, black bears, grizzly bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.

My husband and I are spending a few days in Jackson Hole and signed up for a sunrise tour. We'll worth it, even in the rain! While we could not locate the elusive grizzly or black bear, we did see a very large herd of elk and many smaller groupings of elk, pronghorn antelope, heron, American white pelicans, with a "cherry" on top of a large moose. My only regret? We should have done a full day tour!! [Checking to see if it is too late for tomorrow] Do bring your warm layers, hats and gloves as weather can change. Our entire trip was some level of rain or drizzle with varying levels of wind depending on the section of park we were in. Unless you have some extremely powerful binoculars or spotting scopes, leave it to the professionals as they provide those, snacks, hot/cold drinks and on our early tour, scrumptious blueberry muffins. We even ended the tour with our own souvenir water bottle.

The title of your review is a great one--wildlife don't care about the weather nearly as much as humans, so we always tell guests not to be deterred by the weather. We're certainly glad you weren't! Our guide Seth was a wealth of knowledge! From the meeting point offering breakfast to asking us what animals we’d hope to see that day and all his knowledge, was absolutely an amazing day!! We were blessed to see a moose (which we had hoped to see) and ended the day seeing Blondie and her three cubs!! Couldn’t have asked for a better day! In between all that excitement, saw pronged horned deer and bison! Seth is a wonderful, knowledgeable guide! We highly recommend Eco Tours Jackson Hole!!

After booking the tour for the 10-12 hour tour to Yellowstone (last minute), we heard great things about guides Mark and Seth. I had hoped we would get one of them ... but ... we got Bo. He was A-MA-ZING!!!!!!!! He was very knowledgeable in geology, ecology, animal behavior, history of the Grand Tetons and of Yellowstone, and so many other things. He was able to answer my husband's MANY questions and bantered with the best of them. Bo's professionalism and hospitality skills are top notch! Thanks to Bo, we saw so many things that we would not have seen if we were by ourselves, we would not have known what we were looking at. Bo's knowledge of the parks was exceptional. He asked us what we wanted to get out of this experience and he delivered. The coffee, muffins, snacks, drinks, lunch were also yummy. Treat yourselves to a tour of the parks with JH Eco tours Adventure. You'll learn a lot. You'll be glad you took a tour from JH Eco Tours Adventure. The guides that come back year after year, keep learning new stuff and they use that information to elevate the customer's experience. So, tip generously, they work hard and earn every penny.
