Just north of Phoenix, enjoy an approximate 45-minute hot air balloon ride over the Sonoran Desert. Once you arrive, watch as your balloon inflate. After your flight, relax with a champagne breakfast served on picnic tables with linens. Rides are shared with up to 20 travelers on board. This activity does take up to 4 hours.

It was truly a fantastic experience. Randy (the pilot) and his crew were very helpful, courteous and professional at all times. All the equipment was in excellent condition and we felt totally safe going on the hot air balloon ride. Highly recommended!!

It really was a good experience, just a short ride. It took 90 minutes to travel from site to site checking on the best spot for take-off, which was a bit frustrating since we were on-site before 7 am. It was quite interesting to see the set-up and take-down of the balloon itself. Team chief and crew were friendly, and accommodating; the pilot knowledgeable. We rose to 1,000 feet that at times didn't seem high enough and total air time was 30 minutes. Breakfast was set up quickly - amazed at white table cloths and tables to accommodate all. Champagne toast and balloonist prayer adds to the experience. The view from above is wonderful. It was a good first time experience.

I LOVED everything about my hot air balloon ride. I'll admit, I was really nervous at first, not just because of heights, but because of the logistics. I am from Indiana so I only had one shot at the this, I didn't know the area well, I knew nothing about the company. I just bought it online and hoped for the best. And the best is what I got! My pilot, Randy, was engaging, professional, and very good at explaining what was happening, coming, and what sites we were seeing! Afterwards we had a breakfast in the desert and Randy explained some traditions and history of hot air ballooning. The ride was smooth and beautiful! I was literally the only single person in my basket (13 people total) so just be prepared, but everyone I rode with were friendly. I wouldn't let that stop me for a second. This is an incredible experience. I can't say it enough-if you have ever even considered taking an air balloon ride- do it with Arizona Balloon Safaris!
