Upon arriving, receive an in-depth explanation of one of the most mysterious creatures in the ocean. Join your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel equipment, instruction, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa included.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times
Guests are asked to check-in at our KONASTYLE retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75 5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

As a Local, was not expecting the amazing time we experienced. Boat was amazing, beautiful and clean. All crew members were not only very experienced but “funny”as well! The boat Captain pulled into a perfect position to see more Mantas than we could have expected!!!!!!! As a resident looking for trips to recommend, this Kona Style would be top of my list !!!!! The Kona sunset swim with manta rays was absolutely incredible and unlike anything we’ve ever done. Watching the sun set over the water was already stunning, but the real magic started once we got in the water. Seeing these massive, graceful manta rays glide so close was surreal—it felt like being part of an underwater dream. The crew were fantastic, professional, and knowledgeable and made everything feel safe and easy, so we could just enjoy the moment. If you’re in Kona, don’t miss this—it’s an unforgettable experience! The mantas are beautiful. What a great way to experience this!
