Join us for a sunset tour of the oceanfront Kona Salt Farm located on the westernmost point of Hawaii Island. You will learn about the salt making process, Hawaii’s cultural traditions in regards to salt and the remarkable journey of our unique water source, ultra-pristine, mineral-rich deep ocean waters from 2,200 feet deep.
We finish with a tasting of some of our Kona Pure and flavored salts and then invite you to enjoy watching the sun as it sets into the ocean from our oceanfront grounds or covered deck.

The tour is only partially wheelchair accessible, please contact us.

This was a great tour. Mia, the staff guide, was fantastic. In addition to learning about how they process the salt, there is a sunset watch and a salt tasting at the end. Totally recommend this.

Learned so much about the salt-making history and processes. Mia was a bundle of energy and had so much information. The tasting was good, and it’s a great place to watch the sunset!

We liked it. Beautiful spot. Saw whales and a nice sunset. Tour provided interesting info. Worth the time and cost.
