Family owned business who hires local who love to surf and teach. The owners really showed us true aloha spirit. They were very friendly and made us feel so welcomed. My family and I (including teenagers, 17 and 15) were in the 7 am group. Our instructor promptly met us as 6:50 am for dry land instruction. We then crossed the street where we grabbed our surf boards. We paddled out to a floating buoy that we could grab (to conserve energy and not drift away.) Our instructor took us one at a time, gave us a push to help catch a wave. We all got up first try! Our instructor was Lahiki, a pro who was sponsored by Volcom. He is local from Kona and has surfed since age 3. As a youth, he competed all around the world and was invited to surf the Triple Crown. He was so patient with us. We truly enjoyed spending the 2 hours with him. If you are looking to learn how to surf or just need a refresher course, look no further. Mahalo to everyone in this surf "ohana" family.

Our family and friends rented boards from this husband and wife team. They were friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable about the area and boards, as well as they made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back to give them our business next year.

Such a great experience and Victor our instructor was absolutely amazing. He had me and my 13 year oldson surfing in no time and taught us the fundamentals super fast. Great guys and the family that runs this place are great evening there kids were very welcoming. Thanks Kona Town Surf Adventures.
