  • Electrical wheelchairs are permitted, but special arrangements need to be made with the supplier for a handicap-accessible bus. This must be arranged 72 hours prior to tour date. Contact details will be on your voucher.

The tour was well organised. Had a diesel driven boat (why not electric?) and sooo glad we were not in an air boat (far too noisy). Overall though we were disappointed that there was not more wildlife to see and that the boat captain seemed to think we only wanted to see alligators (which he fed with marshmallows to ensure they surfaced near the boat!). Very little other wild life was seen - just a few birds which often we had to ask to find out what they were. The captain was very pleasant but he was too short on information about the bayou, the wildlife or interesting anecdotes. We did enjoy the trip but it could have been a lot more interesting.

Not too much we can do to encourage the local wildlife to be outgoing, but many will come out based on sun, food sources etc. Most people are fascinated by alligators but you are right that there is so much else to see.

Enjoyed the larger boat experience, away from the harsh sun and loud noise of the smaller boat. The bus was also clean and comfy. The boat guide could speak a little louder, clearer considering non-us visitants to understand everything was said. Also found weird to feed marshmallows to the alligators…

Overall good - we always want guests to enjoy their time on our tour. We will speak with the drivers on vocals. Marshmellows have been fed to them for some time and local experts say that there is no problem for them - in fact that might be the least of their dietary sources for healthy eating.

We were able to see 4 alligators when I that we would only see about 1. The tour guide was funny and answered all questions. Overall I enjoyed and will be going again.
