We went on the Manta Ray 6:30 pm Sunset tour on 5/13 with Trevor, Daniel and Diego. What an amazing time we had and I would recommend to all. They had wet suits (which I highly recommend because you are in the water for at least 30 minutes. They had water and snacks for the ride back. The Manta Rays were beautiful and I appreciated Diego telling us about the animals in more depth. I felt safe and supported. I also really appreciated that they willingly shared the video from their go pro and didn't make you pay like some tours do. We did Tip for their generosity since we didn't have a water proof camera.

On Saturday, February 1st, my family of four took my eldest son, who was 12, and my eldest daughter, who was 10. We rented wetsuits, underwater masks and snorkels. The waves were a little high, but we heard from Lena, Madd, Mitch, and Tamae about the Manta Tour. There was a Japanese guide who explained the manta rays and the Hawaiian sea very clearly and the children were very interested. Also, it was about 30 minutes to the point, but I was able to see the sunset on the way and it was very beautiful. When I got to the point, the waves were a little high, but there was a square floater that could observe the underwater from the middle, and I got my upper body up there to observe. Then, they put their feet on a long float called a noodle and observed it. I told them that there was a 90% chance that the manta rays would come but sometimes they wouldn't. But I met a lot of manta rays! The kids were super excited when a manta ray came up about 10cm from us. I looked up at the sky on my way back from the point to the port and saw the amazing stars. It was a really great experience!
