Robert Malissa is an award-winning, incredibly funny, laugh provoking, out-of-this -world, comedy magician with low self-esteem (who writes his own bios). He has a very warm style with the goal of sharing the joy inherent in a moment of magic.

Rob encourages participation and ensures that his volunteers and the rest of the audience have a great time.

He is the winner of the Philadelphia Houdini Award and a recipient of both stage and close-up magic awards from the Society of American Magicians.

The entire tour is between 1 to 1.5 hours. The walking time is approx. 1/2 hour. The rest of the time is standing, except for a few locations with some spots to sit.
In the summer, a water bottle is recommended.

Examples include; Watch a penny penetrate a glass bottle to honor the saying, "a penny saved, is a penny earned" Enjoy "Les Mis" the musical card trick, a song parody/magic trick Experience spirit writing at the alley, "Little Boy's Court"... and much, much, more! This tour was great. It has family friendly content comedy and great magic tricks. My 2, 11, and 14 year old sons loved it. The magician was very kind and thoughtful as he had tried to get us in shade throughout the tour and gave us a cafe break mid tour. It was great that the content wasn’t like the historical content of the other tours we had gone it. The content was funny and entertaining. I’d definitely recommend this tour for folks who are interested in a fun, low key, experience.

It was fantastic meeting your family and having them on the tour. I am glad you liked the offbeat way I present the history. I really try to edit down to just the very cool nuggets of history for each location.

This tour was a very fun experience of people of all ages. The tour guide was very considerate of all age groups and allowed allotted time for breaks and spotting time in the shade. These cool magic tricks will make you not believe what’s in front of you. I highly encourage everyone interested to give it a chance! It won’t disappoint!!

Great experience for me and my daughter. We had a blast full of laughs, bewilderment, and history lessons along the way. Definitely do this.
