Salem Night Tour

Take a spooky stroll through downtown Salem, Massachusetts on this haunt and history, night walking tour. Join the adventure Friday and Saturday at 8pm or Sunday through Thursday at 6pm. Starting April 1st, we will be running every night at 8pm! Licensed guides lead the way through legends, history, and the infamous hysteria of 1692 — the Salem Witch Trials. This is a walking tour of historic downtown Salem that lasts about 90 minutes. Hear amazing stories of Salem's past and discover why Salem is one of the most beloved, historic, and haunted towns in America. The route goes at a comfortable pace, rain or shine. This Salem night tour is typically well attended, so reservations are highly recommended. In October we require guests to be early. Late arrivals (even by just a minute) are not accepted under any circumstances. Guest that cannot arrive early should not book this tour in October.

Elaina was so nice and wonderful! The best tour guide in all of Salem! She showed us around all the cool, haunted spots and told great stories about Salem! We had the best time & Elaina really made the experience so much more enjoyable! 13/10 would recommend!

It was OK. Tour guide was a nice enough lady with an E name, but not much information at all. Just hearsay of what's haunted and occasionally she'd mention having a spooky photo of that area but wasnt able to show them, which I felt detracted from the tour. That aside, couldn't back up why the witch trials happened or any concrete statistics, all she'd keep saying was "it was crazy, guys, really terrible". I've taken "ghost" tours in New Orleans and Savannah, I'm not a skeptic in the occult sense. and even though this was not advertised as such, ghosts were all that was talked about. That's fine, but historical context is still important and some history on the city and how and why its known for what it is would have been great but I still felt like I had to Google the history afterwards.

We offer two different tours in Salem: a daytime historical tour called the Salem Day Tour, and our famous nightly haunt & history walk called the Salem Night Tour. On the Salem Night Tour guests expect spooky stories & hauntings with a brief, more generalized outline of the history. Although we try our best to answer each question thoroughly, its hard to get into the 'nitty-gritty' details without losing the attention or interest of the other participants. Generally speaking, the more complex history is reserved for our Salem Day Tour. We hope that you will send us an email at [email protected].
