Salem Night Tour

Take a spooky stroll through downtown Salem, Massachusetts on this haunt and history, night walking tour. Join the adventure Friday and Saturday at 8pm or Sunday through Thursday at 6pm. Starting April 1st, we will be running every night at 8pm! Licensed guides lead the way through legends, history, and the infamous hysteria of 1692 — the Salem Witch Trials. This is a walking tour of historic downtown Salem that lasts about 90 minutes. Hear amazing stories of Salem's past and discover why Salem is one of the most beloved, historic, and haunted towns in America. The route goes at a comfortable pace, rain or shine. This Salem night tour is typically well attended, so reservations are highly recommended. In October we require guests to be early. Late arrivals (even by just a minute) are not accepted under any circumstances. Guest that cannot arrive early should not book this tour in October.

Wait until the actual time the tour is scheduled for before leaving and reevaluate the staffing I feel like guest are very eager to visit these tours and to have someone who is unpleasant and snarky working at the front will drive people away. The gentleman I approached at 3:03 after waiting in the line for the store for 5 mins was very rude I told him I was here for the tour he said it had already left which I didn't hear an announcement while I was in line. He then gave me a sticker and told me to go down the way and make a right and maybe I could catch up with the tour. I tried this and wasn't able to locate anyone from the tour when I went back to ask for a refund I was mocked for everything I was saying and handed a business card with Tim's name on it that number went right to voice-mail. They're very unprofessional and need to be trained more appropriately on how to treat people and maybe have a better organization on how to form a line to meet for the tour instead of waiting in the store line with customers. I wouldn't bother wasting your money with these guys pick another tour that I'm sure would be worth it!

We hope not to embarrass you with our response, but we think it's in our best interest to provide a more accurate representation of what happened. You came to our booth already seeming quite confrontational. You realized you were late, missed your tour, and you seemed very angry about it. We tried our best to carefully choose our words to keep things calm. We offered you a chance to take a tour at a later time, or catch up to the tour that already departed. After you had some aggravation trying to find the tour, you came back to tell employees that you were going to get them FIRED, threatened 'he won't have a job when I'm done with him', you demanded to speak to the manager, you demanded a business card for the owner, you wanted to take the employees names 'for your records.' Things got a little out of hand and we realized we needed to let you leave, even if you were still angry. We gave you the business card, as you asked, the employees provided their names. You finally started to walk away while dialing the phone to speak to the owner. On this particular day the phone line was being redirected to the manager you just spoke with at the booth. He saw you dial the number and felt the phone buzzing in his pocket, but he didn't think it was a good idea to answer the call with you standing in front of him. It went to voicemail because answering it probably would have made you want to turn around and come back to the booth. Sorry if you feel our accurate response paints you in a bad light, but we feel we should respond as honestly as we can. Warm Regards and Safe Travels, Salem Night Tour

Lemaris (probably spelled wrong, sorry) was such a great guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable with great stories. You can tell she’s very passionate about Salem’s history and loves living in town.
