Guide Alexander was informative and give us good local experience at the downtown area. Just a little disappointed that we were instructed to cross over to the Mexico side on our own half an hour before the meeting time. I was prepared for it but it was not according to the the description of the tour. Nevertheless, all went smoothly and the immigration back to US side was quite fast.

Tadeo was a fun and informative guide. He gave our group highlights of the places we passed and a solid foundational knowledge of the history of Tijuana. This was a very fun day and the group I was with were all fabulous. Tadeo very clearly communicated where to meet him and how to get through customs. Although this tour states it begins on the US side of the border, so many of the reviews indicated that they were told to cross the border solo, I was prepared to not actually be met on the US side and that's what happened. I would strongly suggest anyone who books this tour assume they will need to cross the border by themselves. The border crossing each way was really easy. Getting to the border from San Diego was very easy, too - just one train ride. The day of or the day before, I was asked to download WhatsApp to communicate pre-departure with the guide (and so he could share pictures), but I had WhatsApp installed on my "old" phone, which was at home, so I was unable to do that. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe the entire time. I'm really happy I chose this tour!
