On this trip we paddle the shoreline of Resurrection Bay, where encounters with sea otters, sea birds, bald eagles and leaping salmon are common. Our day will include a paddle along the coastline and walking through a temperate rain forest. We’ll explore Tonsina Point with its ghost forest, late season salmon stream and beautiful mountain views from its beach. Enjoy a picnic lunch and possibly a visit to a waterfall.

This was a wonderful experience. Jen picked us up and from the get-go was very helpful with local knowledge and tips. Our tour with Gabby was incredible! She is incredibly knowledgeable about marine life as well as the local history and ecosystem. We got so lucky to have such a beautiful sunny day - otters were out, salmon were running, and we had incredible views. Thank you so much! Would certainly recommend.

What a great day kayaking, from the moment they picked us up at the Small Boat Harbor to drop off everything went perfectly. Both the driver and our guide Demi were 100% dedicated to ensuring we had the best possible day. Both were very knowledgeable of the area and offered tips on good places to see and eat. Demi took care of everything during the hike showing us an absolutely beautiful waterfall in addition to the planned hike. She was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals of the area giving us great info about the area. Box lunch was much better than most we have had at other places. Highly recommend engaging Sunny Cove Kayaking if you are in Seward

My wife and I went on the kayak exploration of Resurrection Bay and some of the surrounding forest. Our guide, Demi, was wonderful: skilled, knowledgeable, and friendly. She explained everything thoroughly but still left lots of silence for us to enjoy the spectacular beauty around us. Sunny Cove provided a tasty lunch and outfitted us with all the necessary equipment--all of which was clean and in good shape. We were blown away by the gorgeous views of Resurrection Bay and its abundant wildlife (sea otters, puffins, salmon, eagles, seals). Highly recommended.
