On this trip we paddle the shoreline of Resurrection Bay, where encounters with sea otters, sea birds, bald eagles and leaping salmon are common. Our day will include a paddle along the coastline and walking through a temperate rain forest. We’ll explore Tonsina Point with its ghost forest, late season salmon stream and beautiful mountain views from its beach. Enjoy a picnic lunch and possibly a visit to a waterfall.

On 7/24/23 we did the Tonsina Point Kayak and Rainforest Exploration and it was the best experience! During the hikes ad the kayaking we saw so many different kinds of wildlife. We saw eagles, a sea lion, otters, and salmon. Our guide, Gabby, was so much fun and was patient with us throughout the whole tour! Gabby did a great job on educating us and was very knowledgable about the wildlife around Tonsina. She took us to a waterfall and the lunch provided was very fulfilling! This was one of the best experiences we had while we were in Alaska, Highly Recommend 10/10 (even though there are only 5 stars)

I did the Kenai Fjords catamarán and kayak all day tour, 7:30a - 5p. As promised, we made it back in time for me to get on the 6p train. Amazing day! Captain Nick, deck hand Dan, guide Liz we’re all helpful, friendly, and interesting. As a bonus owner Stephanie came along also with a wealth of experience and knowledge. I know they can’t control what we see, but it was amazing: bubble-feeding humpback whale, a pod of orca, a mountain goat, harbor seals, sea lions, sea otters, and flocks of sea gulls and puffin. Absolutely crazy amazing day!

BUBBLE NET FEEDING! That was amazing, and four whales breaching?! Then the orcas popped up right in front of the idling boat and startled all of us?
