My wife and I, both in our mid 60's, were in the middle of our 3 week Alaskan adventure when we took this excursion in Seward. The van picked us up right on time and they quickly got us outfitted for our adventure. It was a cold, drizzly day, but the gear performed great. As the saying goes, there's no such thing as a bad day, just bad gear. We were the only ones on this tour and Zeke, our guide, was a lot of fun and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We were flanked by harbor seals and sea lions the entire trip who curiously watched us. After our first stop Zeke gave us some soup to warm us up and we paddled on. Since we had some kayaking experience, we were able to go beyond the normal tour. Then we stopped for a brief hike and a great lunch before starting our paddle back. Zeke continued to impress us with his easy going style and his wealth of knowledge. We came back to nice cup of hot chocolate and a warm van ride back to our hotel. This was one of our favorite excursions of the entire trip. Thank you Zeke and the entire team at Sunny Cove for making such a great memory for us!

You're so right, there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear. That's why we make sure all of our gear is in top-notch condition, so it works great in our temperate rainforest climate. And, we agree, Zeke's laid-back and welcoming personality is amazing...we love him too! Thank you for sharing your time with Zeke on the Tonsina Point Kayak & Exploration, and for writing this lovely review. 🤩 Stephanie C. My friend and I, both 65, had a wonderful experience kayaking with this group. The office people, guides, and van driver were all dedicated to our enjoyment and safety. When we booked and via email after, all my questions were answered with patience and many details often anticipating and answering additional questions. Promises to have a relaxing ride and keeping us warm we're fulfilled! Not only did we see a whale and porpoises but our guides identified all the birds. We feasted on edible plants along with a large delicious lunch. One of my favorite adventures of my life!

This group is top notched! Wow that is all I can say about this group. The day was awesome. There were only two of us signed up for the day so we got to have a private tour. Our tour guides Demi and Elise were amazing. They are both professional and caring. They are extremely knowledgeable about area, the sea, and land and everything that depends on it. They are truly passionate about what they do. The tour itself was tailored to us. We spent more time on the water then land per our request. The tour guides taught us all about the creatures in the tide pools and Demi made it fun cause she knew every aquatic and land plant that was edible that we were near and had us taste them all. That was fun! We got to stop at the best little waterfall stop, and we were surprised by a fun little treat to warm our bellies. We continue to spend time on the water and then beached up to have lunch. The box lunch was very good and including alot of fun snacks. After that we got do a small hike in the rainforest and along the beach. One the way home we ran late cause we stopped to enjoy a whale siting that was very close to us. It was an amazing experience. Demi and Elise were so friendly and made the experience just so much fun.... it was like we were hanging out with friends. They have such good energy and made the experience for me! Thanks again guys!

Wow, what an incredible day! We think Elise and Demi have great energy too. They're both always so excited about sharing amazing experiences. They're both like that off the clock too...so much fun to be around. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and I hope the rest of your time in Alaska is equally incredible 🤩 Stephanie C.
