My husband and I had about 24 hours in Kentucky. We signed up for the tour at the Horse Park. What a great experience. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable about the horses and the industry. We visited a stallion barn and a yearling barn. The stallion barn was pristine- you could eat off the floors! At the yearling barn we saw babies- and we were allowed to pet them. This tour was the highlight of my recent trip to Lexington. A must-do!

My son and I booked this tour with Shaun Washington and it was a highlight of our visit to Lexington. Shaun was great, very knowledgeable about the area with personal stories that were hilarious as well as awe inspiring- ask him to tell you the story about Storm Cat... Shawn took us to see Shadwell - a farm that is very difficult to get into unless you have the right contacts. Even though the weather was inclement, it was still an amazing experience. We would highly recommend Shaun and his tour, he is a lovely gentleman- you will not be disappointed!

Shaun was an excellent tour guide. We visited a stallion farm, a yearling farm, and a farm with babies. We were allowed to pet the yearlings and the babies. We also stopped at Keeneland Training Barn and fed the training horses peppermints. Shaun was entertaining and knew a ton of facts and tidbits about horses and the horse racing industry. I've gone on another horse tour, and this one beats it by far. It was much more personable and enjoyable. I would recommend it to anyone!
