It was a fun ride! We would only recommend to groom/grate the trails as some were super bumpy and made the ride uncomfortable at times. Safety gear such as a helmet and goggles are provided however one of the screws came off of the helmet my significant other was wearing while riding. If you have your own gear you can definitely bring it! We were able to stop at one of the lookout points to take a picture which was neat! The sand dunes were our favorite! A nice picture there would be cool and a little more longer of a ride all together. At the end of the ride, I realized my phone had fallen out of my pocket. They were able to find it! Our tour guide was friendly! Thank you!

So glad you had fun! Thank you so much for the valuable feedback. Apologize for the screw. We do preventive maintenance on all our equipment, but as you said, the trails can get pretty bumpy in the winter. In summer when it’s hot, all of the moisture evaporates away with the heat and turns the sand into powdered sugar. So the trails are smooth. But in winter, with the cold and extra moisture, the sand hardens and really retains all the bumps, even after just a few passes from vehicles on the trails. So glad we were able to find your phone! We rarely find lost items in the sand. Had it been summer when the sand is super soft, the phone would have sunk down into the sand. I’ve lost an iPad and an Apple Watch out there. My husband and I had so much fun!! This tour was worth every penny. The views were incredible! The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They make sure you feel safe. To be honest with you, I was glad we had a guide with us, because the area is huge! If we didn’t have a guide we could have easily gotten lost or gone into some of the restricted areas without even knowing it. The guides ride in a different buggy. We drove our rental buggy and they led our group. The guides keep you pointed in the right direction and keep the pace moving. This is not a slow tour! We kept a fast pace through the trail system and only slowed down around turns. We got to see some roadrunners and even an Oryx! We stopped for pictures and our guide answered questions about the area. We got really dusty, so don’t bring your fancy clothes. Our rental buggy was brand new and ran perfectly. We got the more expensive rental machine. The only problem I have now is that my husband wants to buy one, lol. We highly recommend this tour!! It was the highlight of our trip to El Paso.
