DO NOT BOOK FROM VIATOR! The tour and the train was amazing, however you can get it at a steep discount if you go directly through the train companies website. The only difference with Viator purchase is that a lunch/breakfast (depending on you time of departure) is included. But you can still buy that at the train depot for a reasonable price ($16 for a full meal). So you are paying more for an optional lunch and some random extra amount because you are going through Viator. If you book on the trains website. You still get the included champagne and charcuterie with a great tour, gorgeous views, a good history of the area with reserved seating in a a/c car, and the ability to order drinks and walk to a outdoor car as well. The site also has more options for times and a wine focused experience. This tour is well worth the $110 on the website, not the $160 on Viator so stay away!

AJ, we're glad you enjoyed the train ride, the gorgeous views, good history and thought we were amazing. You may not realize your 1-star review, perhaps intended as a commentary on our partner Viator, is actually reflected on Verde Canyon Railroad's rating.
