This tour was the highlight of my trip. Scott was very imformative and friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour on your visit. I have been a Fixer Upper fan since in came on HGTV. I enjoyed seeing all the houses renovated the Chip and Joanna and going inside one. We shopped at Harp design company and met Jimmy Don as well. This is a must do.

I'm a planner, with a budget, and vertigo. Brazos Tours marked all the boxes for me. I made contact with Scott many months ago and explained what I needed. He assured me he could accommodate my needs, so I booked. Prior to the tour I reached out again to remind him of my needs and he instantly responded. Jan was our tour guide that day. She was wonderful. Her knowledge of Waco and Chip and Joanna's past and future endeavors was amazing. I loved seeing all of the houses and places that I'd seen on Fixer Upper. We had a special treat that day by being able to tour inside of one of the Fixer Upper houses. We were able to walk on the porches of a few other properties as well. I cannot confirm or deny if we peered through any windows. hehehe. She took us by many historical landmarks of the town and a brief stint on Baylor's Campus. She had a great sense of humor and was a real joy to hang out with for several hours. We had run out of time and went back to our starting spot. She offered for anyone that wanted to continue on and go get ice cream, she was willing to take us. Truly an above and beyond offer...which we took her up on.

Great tour of Waco with particularly good insight into Fixer Upper phenomenon, aka the Magnolia effect. Saw a number of Fixer Upper renos and actually got to go inside one! But equally as interesting were the historical sights and perspectives into Waco’s growth, development, decline and now its current comeback. Top notch guide! Funny and laid back — but very knowledgeable.
