Guests will walk through the slot canyon known as Waterhole Canyon. Located just 5 miles south of Page, AZ on the Navajo Nation is a beautiful slot canyon waiting to be discovered, WITHOUT the large crowds. Guest will be accompanied with a tour guide as the mesmerizing beauty of the 2-mile canyon leaves a life-long memory. WCE tries their best to keep their guest to tour guide to a 14:1 ratio for each tour time. Guests are shuttled from our office location to the canyon entrance site to begin the slot canyon tour. We found that this Waterhole canyon is the most relax one with a mix of different stone shape experiences in compare with the Upper and Lower. And some of the stone is very unique that can’t even seen in the other famous Antelope Canyon. The tour guide Ryan was patient and professional, he shown us how does these lands are formed. This tour and is the one we enjoyed the most and we can have time to take nice photos as well.

Ryan, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great tour. We took lots of pictures and felt unhurried. We walked through 3 canyons.

Our tour guide was Shane Mailboy, and he was excellent! We (me, my hubby, and another family of three) took the photography tour (3 hours). Shane not only answered our MANY questions, he also told us stories relating to Waterhole Canyon and his Navajo people. We learned so much on the 2 mile hike through the canyon. The highlight of the tour (if I had to choose one) was when, deep in the canyon, Shane played a Navajo song on his flute…it was a spiritual event! The “bonus” was that Shane knows all about cameras (as a photographer himself) and helped me set up my camera for the best shots. I highly recommend this tour…and make sure to ask for Shane as your guide
