Join the research team as your onboard marine biologist and naturalist leads the cruise with a science-based educational experience that separates us from others. Research interns from around the world lead a hands-on touch-tank featuring live local sea creatures.This cruise typically heads 3-15 miles offshore.

Possible sightings include:

Coastal and Transient Bottlenose Dolphins
Humpback, Fin, Minke or critically endangered Right Whale
Bird Life: Wilsons Storm Petrels, Jaegers, Shearwaters, American Bald Eagles, Osprey, American Oystercatchers, Brown Pelicans, Cormorants and other seasonal species
Sharks: Hammerhead, Dusky, Spinner, or Great White
Sea Turtles: Loggerhead, Leatherback, or Green * Oceanic Sunfish or Mola mola
Stingrays: Cow-nosed, Manta ray

It was a sunny day but we were prepared. The captains keep in touch with each other so they know where the whales are. We pretty much went straight out there. We got to sit there and watch the well play. We also got several close-ups of bottlenose dolphins. However, don't be fooled that this is a 3-hour tour versus the other companies 2 hour tour. The other company has a faster boat. However we did not take that tour and our tour was awesome.
