Great excursion and great tour guide. Lots of beautiful scenery going up and back down to Skagway. Wish we had more time to spend at the bridge.

Thanks for this great review. It is really true that the scenery is fantastic going both up and back down. The weather, angle of light, and wildlife is constantly changing during the day.

Easy drive up to summit. Stopped for pictures several times and enjoyed Pat our driver sharing his knowledge of the area.

We had a big family group. Christine and Pat were fantastic. They are both professional photographers and were gracious and accommodating. They even taught us a few cool tricks on how to take great photos on our iPhones. Christine took a great photo of our whole family on the suspension bridge and even gave us a few extra photos that were amazing. Her photos will be an awesome addition to my vacation album. I would definitely recommend booking directly through the company rather than through the cruise line. You can’t go wrong with either Pat or Christine as your guides. The weather was pretty wet and foggy in Skagway, but as we got closer to the suspension bridge, the views were amazing!

Thanks for this great review. Since you were a large group and Rainbow Glacier Adventures specializes in small group tours, we had to split your group into two vehicles with two guides. But we went together in tandem, and so you got to know both of our guides, Pat and Christine, and were able to enjoy all the stops at the same time. I'm glad you mentioned the weather on your tour. This happens regularly- since Skagway is on the coast and the Suspension Bridge is quite a ways inland, the weather often gets better as you arrive at the bridge. This is due to the "rain shadow" effect- the coastal mountains block the clouds, and the sun often breaks through on the other side of the Pass. But rain or shine, the tour is worth it!
