My fiance and I took this food tour for his birthday celebration. We met some wonderful tourists from Michigan and Virginia Beach. Our tour guide was Emily. She is bubbly, energetic and full of jokes. She made sure to include everyone, but also make my fiance feel special since it was his birthday. I will definitely be bringing friends and family from out of town on this tour and going back to the shops/restaurants as a local. They definitely made sure to show the true local spots. I can't wait to go back to all of them! *picture is my fiance from the 2nd to last stop*

Our guide was Jordan. She was super nice and gave all kinds of interesting information. There was one other couple besides us, so it was nice that the five of us could talk and get to know each other. We enjoyed the places she took us. We probably would not have chosen all of them if we were on our own. The bartender at the pub was fantastic. She was able to answer questions and was very helpful. I’m not a beer drinker, but she helped making good choices for me!

With the temperatures in the low nineties, and having already done a two hour walking tour, the three hour tour, some of the walking was a strain for our 70 year old bodies. Our guide did a great job of not going too fast while she added interesting information about the places visited and Williamsburg. We visited nine establishments, including a spice shop, candy stores, regular restaurants, a craft beer tasting, and a bakery. Al were interesting and the samples provided outstanding. We later returned to two of the restaurants for full meals. We recommend this tour, but suggest that you don't precede it with another two hour walking tour unless you are in great shape.
