Done this several times. The bus takes just over an hour to get there.
If you like a bargain, then this is one for you.
Lots of stores to shop in.

I didn't realize that the place where we collect our tickets isn't where the bus departs from Port Authority Terminal 6 streets down. The Port Authority is huge with 2 wings so we wasted time running around looking for the gate. The bus driver we got was sullen and rude and scolded me when I tried to help him find my bus ticket! The drive there was easy - only 1 hour - and the shop discounts are substantial. But we stayed only 3-4 hours as we wanted enough time to get back to the city.
The bus schedule that day was useless. One bus arrived 40 minutes early, and there was an endless queue waiting for the next one, which was horribly late. In the end, we took a cab back to our hotel, which cost 150. I won't take this tour again. The discounts aren't worth the hassle.

This was a great pre xmas boost, managed to buy everything in one place. I would definately take the early coach 7.15am as traffic was heavy, Also take a suitcase with you as carrying everything around is a nightmare and there is very little space on the return journey.
Bargains in Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren shops, make sure you pick up the voucher book at information desk for more savings.
