Hop aboard our Zodiac inflatable fast boats for a guided excursion on the Pacific Ocean in Alaska’s Inside Passage! Take turns at the tiller driving or hang on and enjoy the ride. There are many tours here that allow you to just ride along, this isn’t one of them. Small groups of up to 3 inflatable fast boats follow a guide boat through the jagged coastline islands of Southeast Alaska in search of bald eagles nests, resident seals and sea lions, an immense array of inter tidal creatures and, everyone’s favorite, bubble-net feeding humpback whales! Clover Pass features calmer waters and often better weather than tours running in downtown Ketchikan so we love getting you out of town and away from the crowds.

Enjoy a beautiful spread of smoked salmon dip, warm crab and brie, hummus and other snacks and complimentary beverages (Beer, wine 21+ with iD) from the amazing view at the Salmon Falls Resort Restaurant after your time on the water.

Had a blast driving our own inflatable boat! Such a perfect way to explore the inside passage and get right up next to the shore to check out remote eagles nests and see diving cormorants. I love birds! The Ravens are huge there too and make such cool sounds! The sea lions on the rocks were cute. Saw some humpback whale spouts as well but they were taking really long dives the afternoon we were out there. Will definitely go explore with these guys again the next time I go to Ketchikan. We want to go back and stay at the Salmon Falls Resort. What a beautiful place!

Fun trip. We were nervous at first since we were going to be driving our own boat, but they explained everything very well and the boat was super easy to operate. Following the guide and stopping along the way was a nice mix of adventure and learning about southeast Alaska and the wildlife and history there. Loved watching salmon jumping out of the water everywhere, so funny! All the gear seemed brand new and in great condition. Delicious smoked salmon and Alaskan beer at the resort after was wonderful too. Sure is a beautiful place. Thanks again!

Whale watching from our own boat! We had such a good time with our guide Ben. He was funny and informative and patient with some of the people who needed a little couching on how to drive their own boat. The boats were great, pretty much brand new! It was so nice to get away from the crowds in town. I think there were 6 cruise ships downtown when we were there! Zipping around following the guide was so fun and seeing the bald eagles in the nest was great, but sitting quietly watching a pod of 3 humpback whales feeding and swimming right past us was amazing! The resort setting with snacks and drinks provided was a delicious bonus! Thanks so much to Devon and his crew for making our weekend in Ketchikan so fun!
