We have been on walking food tours in the past in cities such as Charleston, Boston, Paris, etc. We may have paid about the same if not less for these tours, but we were actually went to more unique local restaurants and were able to taste the local cuisine than this tour in Chattanooga. If you wanted an alcoholic beverage that was extra in this tour. That really isn’t a huge deal with us, but for $114 you would think that you could at least get one glass of wine or something. It was a very hot day so we drank a lot of water anyway. I know Indigo Hotel’s restaurant is independently owned, but you start there with your first tasting and you actually end there as well on the top floor for dessert. You are also in another hotel for another tasting. The only time you are not in a hotel is for one other tasting. We have just never seen that in a walking tour. Not a big fan. Maybe their other tours are better. The tour guide was very nice though.

Highly recommend you do the Chatt Taste tours ! So informative and the guides are very informative. Brianna was so charming , we really loved her ! Our food tour was beyond excellent . The Indigo Hotel was our first stop. Amazing Cuban sandwich and the best fries ever. Cute rescue dog who I imagine will become the Mascot! Off to the Gillman and then to the Westin hotel. Gorgeous surroundings , phenomenal food and also drinks. Worth every penny. Chatt taste also does other tours. Your go to for everything Chattanooga!

Love love loved this trip. Solo or not, I love a food walking tour. Always appreciate others I tour with no matter what city. This group welcomed me as if we had been friends for years. Food walking tour people are my kind of people! The company was wonderful!. The food on this tour was DELICIOUS! Love how some chefs create what they want that day. The element of a surprise tasty snack is an awesome way to do this. Not a lot of walking, yet lots of great history at the locations we stopped in. I’m about 2 hours away from Chattanooga and look forward to another food walking tour for other sites. Britney is an outstanding person and fabulous tour guide. See u later in the new year.
