I booked the 2.5 hour tour online 2 hours before the tour at 2pm and had no idea what to expect. I didn’t have time to research tour companies. At the start of the tour my son and I met our guide, Aaron. He immediately explained how the tour would proceed. He was casual, friendly, polite and professional. At every step of the tour Aaron explained the landscape, gave us time to take photos and he even shared a lot of personal experiences about his culture, which enhanced our Monument Valley experience. Aaron also knows a lot of great spots for photos and we got some amazing photos of the area along with culture and history. We were very lucky to get Aaron as our tour guide !!

We had the absolute best time on our 2.5 hour tour guided by Herbert! We were going to do the self drive tour but decided sort of last minute on a guided tour. On the day of the tour, it was raining earlier in the day and really supposed to come down right in the middle of our 5:00 tour. It poured rain about an hour into our tour and lasted maybe 45 minutes and that didn’t stop Herbert! The rain created awesome waterfalls all over the place! The roads were muddy rivers and we saw an incredible lighting strike of the Tomtem Butte. The rain actually ended up creating a really cool experience in which to see the park! We were able to get out of the truck before, during and after the rain for pictures and a little exploration and Herbert was was super knowledgeable about everything Monument Vally and very helpful with picture taking ( and a funny video he made on our camera!) Overall I think the decision to go on a guided tour was well worth it and really enhanced the little time we spent there!
