We are unfortunately quite disappointed with our tour with Tinhorn yesterday. Our driver Lary arrived punctually at 11 a.m. in his old Jeep and we set off straight away on the tour. My husband and I were the only guests. Unfortunately he didn't introduce himself, we had to ask what his name was. From stop to stop Lary said almost nothing except the names of the rocks, which are all written on anyway. Sometimes he mentioned which film was shot there. But we didn't learn anything at all about the history of the Navajos. Not even when we asked. When we still had almost 30 minutes left of the 2 hours, Lary wanted to drive back after the backcountry part, even though we hadn't driven the entire circle yet. Luckily my husband asked him about the "Artist Point", then he reluctantly drove there. And in the wrong direction, even though the Scenic Drive is actually one way. He then simply skipped another viewpoint and in the end we would have had 8 minutes left. The Monument Valley is definitely worth seeing, it is a wonderful place. The only good thing about the tour was that we also drove into the backcountry, where you are not allowed to go with your own car. We would recommend a different organization. We cannot understand the good reviews here. Especially when Lary asked us at the end whether we wanted to give him his tip in cash or by card.

Larry is the best guide in Monument Valley Utah.
I'm Sorry, if u take too much time on every stops u loose some of the other stops. The guide has to b bk up right on time for their next tour.
I'm Sorry to hear that.
Larry said u took too much time on every stops he had to tell u not to take off and start climbing rocks. We can't let our customers do that.
Sorry we have rules to go by.
