We read all the good reviews and decided to go on this tour instead of driving around on our own, mainly to get the live guide who knew the traffic, iconic spots and background information of people and places. BUT, this was a terrible experience. We started about 10 minutes late, the driver/guide just started driving without any welcoming words or information about what we had in store. He only spoke a few times during the whole trip when pointing out a few celebrity houses, so we mostly sat in silence. We were expecting to get some "inside information" and fun facts during the tour, and were really bummed that we didn't. The sound in the back of the bus was terrible and nothing happened when we asked him to turn it up, so we only heard bits and pieces of the few words he said. The Hollywood sign was barely visible from where we drove, and the tour ended 30 minutes early, which means we were on "the 2 hour tour" for a total of 1hr 20min. As a group of nine people spendig quite an amount of money on this, we felt totally ripped off! Save your time and money and get your tour somewhere else, or drive around on your own.

Excellent all around. If you have time this is worth doing. Informative and knowledgeable driver/guide! We saw lots of things we would not have seen on our own.
