This 3-day hike through the Grand Canyon National Park will be one thing you do in your life that you'll never forget! This all-inclusive hike is a wonderful introduction to hiking. As you hike to the canyon floor, enjoy the Colorado River, relax under the shady cottonwood trees near Bright Angel Creek, or grab a lemonade at historic Phantom Ranch! You can take a side hike to Plateau Point for amazing 360 views of the sunset will not disappoint! All permits and fees, gear, meals, snacks, transportation and a certified wilderness guide are all included!

My friend and I had a fantastic experience. This was her very first backpacking trek and she did well, yet it was still plenty challenging for more experienced hikers. Our guide, Jason Hamburger, catered to us around the clock and also educated us on historical fun facts about the Grand Canyon. He's also a phenomenal chef which is like the cherry on top. This was exactly the type of trip I was looking for and I'd highly recommend this guiding company, as well as Jason as a guide.

I had a great experience in the Grand Canyon with a Discovery Treks guide. Not being familiar with desert backpacking and having not done any backpacking at all for a long time, it seemed best to go with a guide. What a great decision (pat on the back). The desert can be harsh. But they take care of just about everything and make sure everyone is prepared, including having enough water. The meals were far better than expected for backpacking. The guide was very knowledgeable of the geology, flora, and fauna. It was a very well-planned trip. I highly recommend this guide service!

This tour was amazing. Discovery Treks gave us a detailed checklist of items to bring, so we were well prepared for this 3 day/2 night hiking and camping trip. Our guide, Michael Cox, was amazing. Gave us some great tidbits about the canyon, made delicious meals and helped some of our group members through some of their challenges both physically and mentally. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the Canyon from different views (above and below) and to challenge yourself.
