Fantastic! Great way to see the whole island and some special spots like Chilmark and Aquinnah that are a little harder to get to without a car.

The tour sounded good in the ads, but basically 90% of the trip you only see trees. The 2 stops were not really appropriate- 1 being a small fish market (tourists didn’t want to buy fresh fish), with not much to see. The tour guide was vague and made several comments that were not appropriate (politically correct) for the group. It was a warm but not overly hot day and the air-con in the bus struggled. Bus driver didn’t have a record of who was on board eg names, so when 2 people were late to the bus, the driver relied on the other passengers to point them out. Guide drove right past and through some retail areas that would have been very nice to stop at. He even pointed out a few like an artisan glassware store, but drove right past. We didn’t need to circumnavigate the island for the sake of it. A few well chosen stops would have been better than 2.5hrs of trees (didn’t even see much of the coast/ocean). My advice would be grab a rental car and explore.

The island is very large and some of it is country. You did go through all 6 towns. If you want to customize a tour we can do that on a private tour. If you look at the other reviews most people are pleased with the tours. We are always open to constructive criticism all you have to do is call the office 508-939-1359
