Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance (time permitted and seasonal option) to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. This is the second time taking this tour for my husband and I. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to take our granddaughter this time. Loved it all over again and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Viola was a great guide and made it fun and interesting. Highly recommend!

The Beauty Way tour with Don was great! We loved Canyon de Chelly and enjoyed talking with Don about life there. He was a very careful driver through many ruts and lots of water. The photos we took were fabulous. It was so interesting seeing the ancestral Pueblo villages built into the cliffs, and the pictographs and petroglyphs. A very memorable day!

the driver was very friendly and knowledgable of the canyon. My only regret was that we did not request a jeep with the roof removed for unrestricted viewing.
