We have taken many tours in many major cities, and I must say, Earl is one of the most entertaining and hard-working -- he ceaselessly seeks to educate and engage -- guides in recent memory. First, he had the four of us, along with all the others riding in "Betsy," Earl's tour bus, in stitches in such a way that we relaxed and found ourselves engaging with him and others for the entire two-hour tour. Not an easy task, but Earl did it.
Earl also knows the history and fascinating details about landmarks and neighborhoods. We saw everything from the Fremont Troll (aka, the Troll Under the Bridge sculpture), to the lovely Queen Anne neighborhood situated on the highest hill in the city, to the Ballard Locks on Salmon Bay, where we stopped and visited the locks and fish ladder. We'd never have thought to visit these places had we not taken Earl's delightful tour.
So, when visiting Seattle as a tourist, think: Earl and his Puget Sound Tours. And to Earl: *Thank you* for making Seattle so very memorable for me, my husband and our friends! We wish you the very best!
