You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

This was my 3rd visit taking family to this experience. The airboat ride is great and you get to see lots of wildlife even if the Alligators are not always cooperative in the heat of the afternoon. Even so, an exhilarating trip out on the lake. What made it for me was the complimentary Native American show of 'Little Big Mountain' ( I couldn't even begin to pronounce his real name. He gave a very entertaining talk on the culture and living of the Native American Indian and although we only saw part of the show before our boat ride, we made sure that we went back to see the show again after our trip. Little Big Mountain really made the afternoon for us all and was very knowledgable and articulate and often hilarious in his show. We came away wanting more and i for one can't wait to go back to hear more.

We arrived at Boggy Creek got our tickets sorted and off we went for an hour's cruise around the Lake Tohopekaliga, where our Captain found some Alligators, birds, (a pair of Bald Eagles I hasten to add), other birds as well, some invasive Snails eggs, our Captain was very informative, the whole experience was absolutely amazing, at the end my hubby and son had a chat to the captain about the engines on the air boats. We went over to the 'Indian village' that was set up and listened to a lovely lady tell us about the Indians and the way they lived and there different 'rooms' or areas. There was also a pen with a pool and a load of smallish alligators in, so if you aren't lucky enough to see them in the wild you can look at them there. We then went into the cafe and had a drink and tried some Gatorbites. (except my daughter as she is a vegetarian). It was a lovely morning out!!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a great morning out here whilst on holiday in Florida. The airboats are a fantastic and exciting way to explore Boggy Creek, something which nobody in our family had ever experienced before. We are so glad we chose to take a ride, it was fascinating to be able to spot both baby and adult gators, as well as bald eagles and other birds and plant life. Captain Andy really helped to make our trip special too, answering any questions in detail and making us all laugh from start to finish. There are also plenty of other activities available, including alligator feeding, panning for gemstones and native tribal exhibitions. An interesting, unique and very fun place to go for people of all ages!
