Lancaster County is home to a fascinating culture nestled in the rural farmlands outside of Philadelphia. Join our tour to learn about the fascinating history and complex lifestyle of the Amish community.

Your tour starts with a ride in our comfortable van out to the idyllic countryside of Lancaster County, where horse and buggies on the roads and farmers in the fields are common sights. You will be fully immersed in their way of life with a visit to the Amish Village Museum, a preserved Amish homestead that is now open to the public.

Come with an appetite as you enjoy some homemade Amish cooking at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you'll have a chance to savor some yummy sweet treats like whoopie pies and shoo fly pies from a local bakery.

We’ll have time for stops in small towns highlighting Amish-made goods, including quilt shops and road-side stands. Best yet, you’ll have the chance to support the community with any purchases, with unique options recommended by your guide!

This was our first time to Philadelphia and we knew we wanted to take a day to see Pennsylvania Dutch Country. We were back and forth on renting a car and exploring on our own or taking a guided tour. We are beyond happy we chose this tour! WeVenture picked us up in Philly and drove us out to Amish Country. We were able to explore so many villages and there is no way we would have found any of the stops on our own, plus Adams’s knowledge of the area and recommendations for the rest of our trip were absolutely priceless. If you are looking for the perfect day tour of Amish Country, that offers an authentic experience - look no further! This tour shows you the beautiful countryside, local favorite roadside stops with wonderfully authentic Amish snacks, answers to all those questions you have and priceless insight to the Amish way of life. We highly recommend WeVenture and will definitely book them again on our future adventures!

Our guide was Dale and we had a great experience! He told us great facts as we left the city. He was knowledgeable and so kind. He answered a lot of questions!! He took us to several places in the Amish community so we got immersed in the Amish experience! We went on a buggy ride, we had pretzels and milkshakes in the countryside! We saw quilts, schools and so much more than we expected! It was well worth the money to see all the places and have that personnel interaction all day. Definitely recommend

I just want to let you know that the issue with your booking is with Viator, not our tour company. For some reason, Viator mixed up your booking date, which caused this confusion.
