This was unlike any other art retreat I have experienced in that Andrea created an awesome opportunity for me to grow as an artist. Every lesson in this masterfully created program offered valuable demos, insights, tools, techniques, tips and guidance for dealing with so many of the situations that arise when we paint. This was invaluable! She also provided an encouraging atmosphere within which to experiment and play. All, and I mean all, supplies (paint, canvases, etc) were provided right down to an apron and gloves. This made it so much easier for me as I was coming from out of state. In addition, the location of the studio, right in the heart of beautiful Santa Fe, and comfortable studio environment (great vibes in her charming building) just added to the overall experience. Andrea’s one-on-one mentoring and feedback during the retreat was extraordinarily helpful as was the opportunity she provided at the end of each day to give and get feedback from the other students. A heartfelt thank for all you did to make this so inspirational, educational and successful for me! If you have the opportunity to participate in Andrea's retreat, don’t hesitate to do so!!

After searching around for a painting course that would combine having fun creating my first painting, while also teaching me skills that I could use to explore painting in the future, I found Andrea and her class. Andrea was very welcoming and had a wonderful personality. Paired with her extensive knowledge in teaching and acrylic painting, the class was exciting and informative. With some guidance and encouragement throughout, my group and I were very pleased with what we all created. My expectations for a good looking piece of art were low based on my skill and knowledge, but I was extremely surprised by what I made with the help and teachings from Andrea. Highly recommend!

This was my first time ever trying to paint. I received excellent instruction. I couldn't believe I actually painted an abstract landscape! Pam was excellent and helped me step by step through the process. I think I'm hooked! It was a comfortable, no stress in fact was very relaxing. Hope to take another class soon.
