Floating 2,000-5,000 feet over the desert in a hot air balloon, the 360 degree unobstructed views and peacefulness of flight is breathtaking. Following your 45-60 minute hot air balloon flight, guests are treated to chilled champagne (or sparkling cider) and a fruit + cheese plate in the desert, the perfect end to the day.

We had a marvelous adventure in the balloon. It felt like we weren’t moving even though we were floating over the desert near Lake Pleasant. It was wonderful to have other balloons in the air at the same time so we got great photos against the setting sun.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary at 6000 feet and we chose Hot Air Expeditions for this. It was an excellent choice! Our pilot, Jonathan, was super nice and very engaging. Afterwards, we had Champaign and hors d'oeuvre. Then Jonathan and the crew surprised us with cake for us and a young man turning 13. To the Jonathan and the ground crew...THANK YOU!
