The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is perfect for paddlers of any level, including children and beginners. It’s an intimate nature experience in which participants can expect to get up close and personal with turtles, alligators, snakes, otters, and occasionally, manatees. The terrestrial nature of the forest attracts pileated woodpeckers, red shoulder hawks, and the curious anhinga, sometimes referred to as the “water turkey.” The protected makeup of Lofton Creek means paddling here is “weather resistant” to tumultuous coastal conditions. A south-bound paddle on Lofton Creek provides picturesque marsh views, whereas a north-bound paddle is a more remote, forested experience. The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is a guaranteed good time for everyone in your group!

We had a glorious trip with Madeline yesterday! Everything was perfect and she was a terrific, informative tour guide. The equipment is great and they have a flawless system to make for a perfect trip! It was just long enough and we got soma amazing pics they snapped. I highly recommend - it was a fabulous start to our day!

Beautiful views, very peaceful and easy pace to keep up with. Instructors were great! Loved the information that came along with the tour like the history facts and plant/animal facts!

Thank you to Madeline and Rachel for a great experience kayaking. They combined just the righ5 amount of rests and teaching and were so personable!! We also had a great day! May is a great time of year for this adventure!
