The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is perfect for paddlers of any level, including children and beginners. It’s an intimate nature experience in which participants can expect to get up close and personal with turtles, alligators, snakes, otters, and occasionally, manatees. The terrestrial nature of the forest attracts pileated woodpeckers, red shoulder hawks, and the curious anhinga, sometimes referred to as the “water turkey.” The protected makeup of Lofton Creek means paddling here is “weather resistant” to tumultuous coastal conditions. A south-bound paddle on Lofton Creek provides picturesque marsh views, whereas a north-bound paddle is a more remote, forested experience. The Lofton Creek Kayak Tour is a guaranteed good time for everyone in your group!

This was a great, super slow, super easy relaxing paddle for us with our kids ages 9, 7 and 6. The creek is cute and offers enough points of interest to keep everyone engaged. The guide was excellent and the equipment and overall experience with the company was flawless.

We enjoyed our tour guides and the serenity of the creek. It was a beautiful morning. Surprisingly, there were no bugs! Apparently, mosquitos do not go near the water. It's was a lovely paddle! A great way to learn a little about Ameilia Island and see wildlife. Our kids (9 and 12) loved it, too (we used tandam kayaks).
