My husband Eddie and I took this tour on 2/19/19. The weather was not expected to be good, as the Sedona area and the North Country was expecting to see record snowfalls in the days to come. On this day, there was some snow on our journey. Our tour guide was Allen. Allen was WONDERFUL, warm, and knowledgeable, and taught us so much, (he also has great taste in music, which he plays on the long, scenic ride back!) Myself and another women in our van were concerned about driving through snowy weather. We had NOTHING to worry about! Allen made us so comfortable on our drive that we were able to it back and enjoy the scenery! Horseshoe Bend was just beautiful! It is a bit of a walk (mostly uphill) but not bad. I'm glad I had on hiking boots! (snow!...but i have to add that while it does snow up there, it's not common at this time of year, and neither are 20-30 degree temps!) Antelope Canyon was BREATHTAKING! Made me cry! For this tour you get off one tour bus and get on another. A Navajo guide then takes you into the canyon. The guide was GREAT! He taught us about the canyons, how they are formed, and he showed us exactly where and how to take the most fabulous photos! Other highlights were a nice lunch in a local restaurant and a quick shopping trip in Cameron Trading Post. I can't recommend this tour and our guide Allen enough!! Perfect day that we will remember forever!!
