My wife and I had an amazing trip from Sedona to the horseshoe bend and then on to antelope canyon. We had a fantastic tour guide named Allan that drove us (along with a few other couples) all day starting at 6am. We got to the horseshoe bend around 10:30am, Allan gave great commentary of what we were seeing and history of the area along the way. Horseshoe bend was a short 10min walk downhill to spectacular views. After taking pictures and walking around for 45 min, we moved on. After lunch, we were passed off to another fantastic Navajo guide named Sandra who took us on about a 15 min drive into the Antelope canyon. If you are reading this than you’ve done a little research and seen the pictures of this place - it’s gorgeous! Sandra also gave the history lessons and taught us some of the Navajo language but she also knew ALL the cool pictures to take - she knew what filters to put on the cameras and what angles and she ended up just taking most of the pictures for our group because there was no way we could have taken better pics ourselves!
It was a long drive back to Sedona, we got back just after 6pm, but it was a great trip, I’ll always remember it. Thank you to Allan and Sandra for making the day so awesome!
