Hop into a Toyota Land Cruiser with your expert guide and head north from Moab to the backcountry entrance of Arches National Park and avoid the crowds.

Our first stop is to see dinosaur footprints. For millions of years this area was teeming with dinosaurs.

We pass Balanced Rock, one of the most iconic features of the Park, standing a staggering 128 feet. Landscape look familiar? Indiana Jones, and Thelma and Louise have scenes shot here.

The 4X4 trail into the backcounty climbs a short but steep rock wall passing sandstone fins, towering pinnacles and tall spires known as the Marching Men. We stop at Tower Arch for an optional hike.

As you travel along the track, hear informative commentary about the geology, wildlife and history of the park.

We make another stop at Eye of the Whale for an optional hike to a seldom visited slick rock playground named Herdina Park.

After exploring the backcountry we exit past the three gossips and Park Avenue before your guide returns you to Moab.

Stunningly beautiful!! Greg was an awesome guide! So much fun. We are 5 women 67-79! When we first saw the vehicle, we thought oh no! But once we got started it was wonderful. Greg was entertaining, respectful and kind. Overall, just a fantastic experience ♥️

The best part of our tour was our tour guide - John. He was knowledgeable on the geology of the park, the history of the park, the history of the indigenous peoples and the area, and all the movies that had been made in the park. He even gave us a great recommendation for dinner. We saw arches that most folks never get to see. We got in the park with no problem, which on your own can be a problem. Of course, the scenery no matter where you looked was spectacular. Highly recommend this tour and John.

On, Wednesday, May 15th, we had the pleasure to travel to Arches National Park. Our guide, Tatiana Silva, provided a tour that was filled with information and stories about the various areas of the NP. We started our journey in the UtahRaptor State Park. There we saw fossilized dinosaur tracks. It was a great place for photos. We proceeded into Arches NP via the back entrance - a thrilling ride, ably driven by Tatiana (she can really handle the 4x4!!) We saw the Windows Section, Balanced Rock, Fiery Furnace, Landscape Arch, and the Courthouse. We stopped several times to use the viewing points or trails to see the structures "up close and personal". Tatiana is knowledgeable about the Park, and the Moab area. She tells many "local" stories which add to the basic park information. We all (there were four of us) enjoyed the tour, and especially, our guide, Tatiana. Recommend this trip, especially if you have limited time to visit the park - it has all the high pointes.
