Had a great time on our ride to the Arctic circle. Linus was a fascinating guide, both for his Alaskan knowledge and his personal story living in a “dry” cabin. We learned about the interior of Alaska and got up close and personal with the pipeline. The Dalton Highway is mostly dirt and potholes but Linus navigated the road well and kept us feeling safe despite the numerous large trucks hauling mining equipment to and from Prudhoe Bay. Seeing a black bear and her cub cross the road in front of us was a nice bonus and reminded us that we were in a true wilderness. It was a long day but one of the best we had during our Alaskan vacation.
