Great museum in its (newish) location. Excellent docents with ASL and great vibe at the Free on Friday event. Wonderful terrace as well

The big elevator with the engaging operator was fun. The multi- floor exhibit of “deaf people’s experience” lost our engagement. We did try hard to understand, but got frustrated. Maybe a 1/2 of floor instead of 2.? The building’s architecture is intriguing and enjoyed the views from the balconies. The basic art exhibit was good.

The Whitney is now free for those 25 or under! Highly worth the visit, the current galleries focusing on highlighting parts of the permanent collection have some really great modern art. There's free tours on certain floors with a museum volunteer guides who are happy to answer questions and can provide additional insight on their selected pieces. We stopped for a coffee and cookie on the first floor, re-entry to the galleries with the day's ticket is accepted, and spent so much time on certain floors we didn't finish the museum yet!
