More details: • Meeting location: Agreed Location within Alexandria City Limits, Arlington County, or District of Columbia (Washington City). • Most of the tour is out of doors so dress appropriately for the season. Early morning (0800 or 0830) start recommended. • End location: Agreed Location within Alexandria City Limits, Arlington County, or District of Columbia (Washington City). • Location options: Address or Intersection upon Traveler's request, Airport, Cruise Ship Port, Hotel, Monument/Building upon Traveler's request, Rail or Bus Station • Transportation Method: Private SUV (2017 Buick Enclave) to and from the cemetery. There's an option to employ the public trolley on the cemetery grounds if guests are mobility limited. We will see more if we tour afoot. Touring afoot is hilly and about 2.75 miles or 4.4 km.

The best tour! Despite the rain we were able to view all our requested sites and then many more we were not familiar prior the tour but now we have so much added knowledge of Arlington! We highly recommend Tom our Guide - he was excellent and knew Arlington well

My mother and I are in the midst of a five day trip to Washington...and by jove we've just had our best day yet. Tom, is knowledgeable. Personable. Funny. And a fantastic guide to show you the best Washington sites, is there anything he doesn't know? Despite peppering him with questions on a wide range of topics he always came up with the answer. Arlington is a beautiful, peaceful place on it's own but add the historical and military knowledge, Tom, brings to your tour and you've got yourself the perfect day out. We saw Arlington, Iwo Jima, Fort Myer, Airforce Memorial and The Pentagon. Thank you, Tom. P.S - It was pleasant to pass on some of our British mannerisms during the tour, higgledy-piggledy!

I can't thank Tom enough. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the day at Arlington along with all the extras from Fort Meyer and the stable visit to the stop at the Pentagon 9/11 memorial. My Mom said it best, "It was like having a good friend along with you who happens to be a history buff and gets you to all the right places". If I have a regret, its that we were completely spoiled by Tom on the front end of our visit and missed him when left up to our devices! :) If you're on the fence about which tour to book, book with Tom. We're looking forward to seeing him again on our next visit! Thanks, Tom!
