I did not have the same experience as others. We started in heavy Asheville traffic with little orientation. I had difficulty as my bike was a bit different and the seat too high. Brian tried to make my husband and I go back after the first stop, and after an argument, we continued. Pearl was wonderful in taking time at the first stop to adjust my bike and staying with me until I was comfortable. From there, we rode to the Graystone Hotel. Several of us missed the tour inside the resort, because we returned outside as to not miss the group leaving. We had no idea Brian did a tour inside until he returned. The only other stop was when one of our group fell over. In my opinion, we went too fast through traffic filled streets, and missed being able to see the city buildings. Pearl was wonderful in stopping traffic and helping others, but Brian’s leadership left a lot to be desired. I do want to add that I ride my bike frequently, so that was not the issue.
