Check out Austin's favorite murals, landmarks, and history on this journey propelled by a pedal-assist E-bike. The " I love you so much" wall, Barton Springs pool, South Congress, downtown, and much more are all within reach! Halfway through the tour, we do stop for coffee/ beer/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot.

Barton Springs Bike Rentals & Tours

Customers arrive at Barton Springs Bike Rental & Tours 15 minutes prior to tour start time. They will then be fitted to a pedal-assist electric bike, and go over the operations and safety. The tour begins by heading towards the famous Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park area. Up next is the Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial and the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. Then head into south Austin to check out the "Greetings from Austin" and the very popular " I love you so much" murals. The breathtaking views of the Austin Skyline from South Congress will lead the tour into downtown. Here the customers will ride through the town heading towards the Congress Bridge, home of the bats, & state capitol. Halfway through the tour, we do stop for coffee/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot. All bikes are included in the price as well as water during and after the tour. Helmets are required. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes for bike riding and your camera for all the great photo opportunities.

Great way to see a LOT of Austin - Barton Springs, Boudin Creek, South Congress, Waller Creek, the Capitol, Judge’s Hill, Market District, lots of murals and an up close peek at some bats. The e-bikes were great (lots of settings so you can make it as easy or as tough as you want), Michael our guide was excellent (informative at every stop, kept the group together while riding, and a fantastic photographer), and we got to see parts of Austin we never would have otherwise. Some of the folks in our group (total of 10) talked over the guide so that was annoying but out of anyone’s control (Michael tried, they still did what they wanted). Be aware for other plans, our 12p tour ended around 3:15p, but it didn’t feel that long because it was a lot of fun.

The bikes were of excellent quality and easy to use. Michael gave us a fun and informative 3.5 hour tour and answered all our questions. How great that a friendly bike mechanic also knows so much about the history of Austin. Highly recommend!

This was a fabulous way to see the city. Our tour guide Mark showed us picturesque vistas and was knowledgeable about the city. I really enjoyed seeing the Austin bats and a midway stop at a local coffee shop.
