Throughout the course of the Live Music Crawl, you’ll hear about Austin's live music history, get the latest scoop on the current music scene and see iconic venues and new clubs, all while getting an overview of the city. Our live music tours are led by local comedians, artists, performers, and music enthusiasts. You'll ride in style a Mercedes Sprinter van. Get out of downtown and see the real Austin. The duration of this tour is roughly three hours. During that time frame, you'll visit 3 (three) different venues and be back around 11pm. This tour simply rocks! If you enjoy fun people, live music, and learning about the city of Austin, this is the tour for you. If you're lucky enough to have Stephen as your tour guide, you are guaranteed great fun! We enjoyed three very different genres of music and really got a good feel for the Austin music scene. Stephen shares a wealth of knowledge about Austin and gives lots of suggestions about how to spend the remainder of your time in Austin. My friend and I booked the tour for our first night in Austin and it was the perfect way to kick off our girls' weekend!

We were so blessed to have Jason Weems as our tour guide. Jason’s passion and love for the city of Austin made this tour come alive for us. He brought to life the deep and rich history of the city of Austin and it’s music scene. This tour was worth every cent and we would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Austin. My only negative, is not taking a longer tour. Already planning on returning to Austin due to this tour.

Our tour guide, Sunny, was clearly an "insider" in the music scene in Austin, and chose the venues with a great deal of thoughtfulness and care. There were about 8 of us and we piled into a van in front of the Hilton, and he drove and parked at three different venues around town. Every band was terrific -first was salsa, second a traditional Texas two-step honky-tonk, and third was a fabulous guitar blues band. Austin is a music town and I can't think of a better, less painful way to get oriented to some awesome music venues and musicians. Just tons of fun!
