What a great way to spend an evening in Fells Point! Our tour guide, storyteller, and historian (because she was all 3,) Jericho was talented, charismatic, and knowledgeable as she led us through various streets an alleys of Baltimore. We (Me and my 7yo daughter) arrived early and Jericho was already there with ghost plushies in hand; as it turned out the other 3 customers scheduled for the tour had misbooked and were expecting a pub crawl which she quickly and professionally sorted leaving just me and my daughter for the experience. My daughter has ADHD and it can be difficult for a presenter whereas even if she's paying attention she can be milling about and staring off into space; I couldn't praise Jericho enough. Not only was she able to directly engage my daughter and keep her interest; she was able through euphemism and other slights of language to present the more lurid details in a way that did not go too far for a 7yo (mind you she loves all things spooky and creepy.) Lastly, Jericho did this amidst numerous interruptions from passerby's who she dealt with professionally and often with humor without skipping a beat in her presentation. In closing, after a full vacation including children's museums, swimming, camping and amusement parks; when asked about her trip my daughter has emphatically chosen to tell friends and family all about the ghosts of Fells Point; that says something. At the end of the tour Jericho pointed us on the best route towards our hotel and walked with us a bit chatting more about ghosts and performing as she was heading the same way but she had forgot her lantern at the last stop and had to double-back. Wherever you are, Jericho; thank you for bespelling my daughter and I hope you are well, beacon in hand!
