Okay, I must say that as a mom, I was very reluctant to this banana boat ride...my mind was filled with all sorts of concerns..."will we be safe?", "will one of us get motion sickness?" "will we have fun or will everyone hate it?" etc. etc. But as we were waiting on the dock for the boat to come, we met Angel and she helped to calm not only my nerves but my kids as well. Then she took us to the boat and we met Chris and Captain Clay. They were awesome also....very down to earth, enthusiastic, nice and so much fun. They were all such good people. I can tell that they truly care about our safety and that everyone in our group will have a blast!! First, we sat back and took a very relaxing boat ride out to the harbor while Chris chatted with us and our kids. Then, we all loaded onto the banana boat and Chris gave us the rules and hand signals. Before they started, we all asked if we were going to fall off and Chris's honest answer? "Yes, I'm positive that you all will fall off. But we will come back around to get you." :) From there, the fun began!! Talk about having a blast!!! It was an awesome ride AND no one fell off. (Thanks, Chris and Clay, for taking it easy on us! *wink *) I went with my husband, my 13 year old daughter, 10 year old son and my niece who is 14. They enjoyed it so much that they are still talking about it (& my reluctant son is the one who definitely wants to come back soon! (like tomorrow?) We are awaiting pictures which I know will be great. We will cherish these wonderful memories! We will definitely do this again! :) Thank you for helping this mom relax and for helping my husband and I create priceless memories for our children and for such a fun time! I highly recommend this to everyone and to all the worried moms out there....don't worry, just go with it because it was safe and everyone will have such a good time. :) Helpful tips: wear your swimsuits, do not wear any jewelry and do not bring anything that you do not want to lose (but if you forget, you can leave it in their safe box on the dock :), put on sun screen if you're going during the day and bring your smile (because it won't come off after the ride starts). "Hang on" and have FUN! :) Happy mom

The Banana Boat ride is a fun time for your entire family! You will not be dissapointed! Our trip was cut short by a few minutes and the crew took us out again at no charge. This is a MUST while you are in Destin and we will be booking it every year. Thanks guys!

This is our family's first time experience riding the banana boat ride and what a great experience it was !!!! It is one of the highlights of our recent summer vacation in Destin. Chris and company of Mobile Sports was very professional and fun to be with during the ride. They made sure that we had a great experience. In addition, plan to get the photo package... it's very important to have memories of your great experience ...!!!!
